This document describes the Charter of the organization known as the Central Indiana Life Science Project Management Group (LSPM).
The mission of the Central Indiana Life Science Project Management Group is to advance the impact of Project Management in the FDA regulated Life Science industries and industries supporting the Life Sciences industries. LSPM focuses on Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, and Biotech in
Affiliation
LSPM is associated with the Project Management Institute (PMI®) through the Local Interest Group program. The affiliation is through the PMI Central Indiana Chapter and the PMI Pharmaceutical Specific Interest Group. There is no formal relationship among the organizations, but PMI’s components provide support by helping to publicize LSPM meetings and its purpose.
Governance
LSPM is organized as a network of individuals with a common interest in the advancement of Project Management in the Life Science industry in
The Leadership Team consists of volunteers with roles and responsibilities that culminate in the implementation of the LSPM mission.
Ad Hoc committees may be formed consisting of volunteers to provide input, assistance, and complete specific tasks as delegated by the Leadership Team.
